With around 20 staff members and regional Network-Coordinators, and a large global community of supporters, the DESERTEC Foundation is now active around the world. The goal of our network of local qualified volunteers is to establish contact and build relationships with NGOs, scientific institutions and companies in the corresponding country to enable the further spread of the DESERTEC Concept. Coordinators can be found in Austria, Belgium, Egypt, France, The Gambia, Hong Kong, Japan, Mexico, Switzerland, Tunisia, and the United Kingdom.

We are pleased that there are already numerous private supporters of the DESERTEC idea in many parts of the world. Some of these supporters have created own websites on DESERTEC. If you are not sure whether you are dealing with an authorized representative of DESERTEC, please contact us.
